A nostalgic nod to the Club where it all began

Jason at Diggers - Navigating nostalgia: Mentoring the next generation

Diggers Services Club will always hold fond memories for me. I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the staff I worked with. I still appreciate all the guidance, support, and advice I received over the years I was employed at the Club.

Diggers Services Club was and still is focused on providing opportunities for youth in their local community. This makes the venue an excellent candidate for School Based Traineeships offering pathways for students to work, earn and learn whilst still completing high school. The program also provides a pool of future leaders who can take the venue to the next level in their own way, opening a potential career in hospitality.

Recently, I was able to go back and deliver RSA training to their new cohort of School Based Trainees.
This unit of competency forms part of a ‘Certificate III in Business’ which is the qualification being undertaken in partnership with CTA and Diggers Services Club.
