General Manager - Brisbane Racing Sports and Social Club

This is an opportunity for an up and coming or proven hands-on General Manager.

The BRSSC is fully owned by Brisbane Racing Club (BRC). 

BRC is about to embark on plans that includes the $1.2billion master plan that will include a new licensed club as part of the racing precinct.

The club will provide a unique environment for an innovative manager with an outgoing personality and a minimum of three years senior management experience in the club industry.

The club boasts two bowling greens, 48 gaming machines and features a bistro with indoor and outdoor dining, bar facilities, and sports bar including TAB and Keno.

The club also plans to expand gaming in the short term to 100 gaming machines.

As part of the Brisbane Racing Club group, the Club is able to utilise the expertise of the finance, marketing and hospitality staff.

The club’s executive Committee are searching for a motivated individual to take ownership for the operation, change culture, drive revenue and take the club to the next level with the long term racing precinct master plan.

The General Manager will enjoy being directly involved with every aspect of the club’s operation.

Key responsibilities will be to oversee the club’s day-to-day operation, with an emphasis on growing all aspects of the Club.

The ideal candidate will be a results orientated professional, who is highly creative and thrives in a busy, diverse work environment.

The club has untold potential for the right applicant who will have a min of 3yrs hands-on hospitality management experience, with a proven track record of achievements, strong skills in gaming, entertainment, beverage and catering operations and the ability to manage and develop renovation projects.
